Domeniul de interes în cercetare: • efectele celulare ale radiatiilor ionizante, efecte ale radiatiilor ultraviolete, terapie fotodinamica
• gasirea si evaluarea unor markeri celulari si moleculari predictivi ai raspunsului la tratamentele oncologice; predictia chemo- si radiosensibilitatii tesuturilor normale si tumorale la pacientii oncologici;
• mecanisme moleculare in radiobiologie si aplicatiile acestora in terapia cancerului
• nanoparticule sintetizate din metale nobile: Au, Ag, functionalizate cu extracte din plante bogate in antociani si efectele lor asupra keratinocitelor in vitro; evaluarea toxicitatii diferitelor tipuri de nanoparticule asupra celulelor normale: keratinocite, celule neurosenzoriale;
• efectul antioxidant al unor compusi naturali in modele experimentale in vitro;
• implicatiile celulelor stem in regenerarea tisulara si procesele de vindecare;
